The Role
Join our team as an SEO Specialist focused on on-page optimisation and technical SEO. You'll work hands-on with WordPress sites, implementing strategies that deliver real results for our diverse client base.
What You'll Do
* Conduct website audits and implement on-page SEO best practices
* Optimise WordPress sites (structure, content, UX) using Elementor
* Perform keyword research and strategic placement across all on-page elements
* Fix technical SEO issues and implement schema markup
* Manage Google Business Profiles and local SEO
* Create monthly reports using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush
* Collaborate via and GoHighLevel (GHL)
* Apply copywriting and storytelling skills to optimise content
* Work closely with graphic designers, web designers, and other departments
Requirements
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field
* 2-3+ years on-page SEO experience with WordPress websites
Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of technical SEO, schema markup, and E-E-A-T
* Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console
* Experience with Elementor and WordPress
* Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript (understanding level)
Core Competencies:
* Excellent copywriting and creative storytelling skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player
* Analytical mindset with data-driven approach
Bonus Points
* Core Web Vitals optimisation experience
* Multi-language/location site optimisation knowledge
* Agency or small business client experience

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.95 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Werribee VIC 3030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
* SEO Executive: 1 year (Preferred)
