About the Role
Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of a global aerial firefighting leader. We support Australian States and Emergency Service Organisations with heavy aircraft and experienced team members.
We operate a diverse fleet of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including Boeing 737 FIRELINERTM, Citation, King Air Command/Control aircraft, CH47D Chinooks, UH-60 Blackhawks and Bell 412 helicopters.
The Rotary Wing Head of Training & Checking (HOTAC) will conduct operational duties, training and checking responsibilities associated with aerial firefighting and flood response, crew/equipment transport, reconnaissance, search and rescue, disaster mitigation and related operations in support of emergency services.
This role requires flexibility and working away from home base at short notice, with competitive salary and an emphasis on work/life balance.
* Ensuring compliance with civil aviation legislation;
* Establishing and managing training procedures and schedules;
* Liaising with external training providers;
* Undertaking flying roles and managing training personnel;
