Job Description
We are currently seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver care and support in accordance with residents' care needs.
* Read and follow each resident's individual care plans or instruction and guidance from the Registered Nurse.
* Recognize and report changes in residents' health care status.
* Administer medication to residents, safely and correctly in accordance with Policy & Procedure.
* Assist residents to maintain the optimum level of health and well being.
* Encourage residents to maximize their independence.
* Respect the rights of each resident to make informed choices about their health care requirements and residency.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Aged Care and/or equivalent.
* Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people.
* Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English.
* Current flu and Covid vaccination record highly regarded.
* Willing to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate.
* Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.
* Must be able to start immediately.
* Must already reside locally.
