About the role
We are a 24-hour, 7-days a week A1 Graded Security Alarm Monitoring Station looking for reliable and motivated Monitoring Centre/Call Centre Operators for Casual employment with the availability to work between the hours of 6pm to 6am, up to 2-3 shifts per week (including a mix of weekdays, weekends & public holidays). Pay is above award wage.
This is NOT a working from home role.

Duties
Your main duties will include:
* Attending to a high volume of inbound/outbound calls
* Monitoring of alarm systems in accordance with client instructions
* Monitoring of personal safety devices and liaising with emergency services
* Providing a consistent level of exceptional customer service
* Ensuring high accuracy with data entry and administration tasks
* Managing and providing a resolution to customer complaints
* Remotely monitoring of CCTV systems

* Strong customer service experience (retail, hospitality and previous call centre experience is advantageous)
* An excellent phone manner, with a polite, friendly, and positive attitude
* Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills; with a high level of attention to detail
* Resilience; must be able to deal with challenging scenarios and high stress situations
* Strong active listening skills
* Strong organisation skills; the ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
* Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
* The ability to work as part of a team, or independently when required
* Intermediate Microsoft Office, and general I.T/typing skills
You Must
* Be available to work between the hours of 6pm to 6am
* Be available to work between 2-3 shifts per week (between 8-18hours rostered - potentially more depending on your availability)
* Be available for training between the listed training times/dates below - for a min. of 3-4 days per week
* Be available for a mandatory induction on Monday 27th April 2026
* Intermediate Microsoft Office, and general typing skills
* Be adaptable, flexible, and receptive to change
* Be responsible, reliable, and a solid team player
* Have a positive attitude and calm demeanour
* Be customer service focused
* Be comfortable and confident in dealing with high pressure situations
* Be a quick thinker and fast learner
* Have your own transport ( limited public transport in the area past 10pm )
