Overview
We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to support our Family Law team in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
* File opening and management
* Assistant debtor management
* Credit card reconciliation
* Managing end of month billing
* Payment of invoices and financial audit reports
* Drafting cost agreements and preparing & issuing tax invoices to clients
* Scheduling meetings and organising calendars
* File management, saving emails and correspondence to files
* Answering and making phone calls
* Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, lawyers, barristers and principals
* Other general administrative tasks as required
Requirements
* Experience in general administration in a professional services environment or a similar legal secretary role
* Outstanding time‑management and a strong commitment to consistency
* Natural inclination for taking initiative
* A self‑starter who also thrives in a collaborative work environment
* Confidence in building lasting relationships with colleagues and clients
* Accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism
