About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at the Queens Hotel in Gladstone, Queensland. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a venue currently undergoing a $10 million transformation – redefining hospitality in Central Queensland with a bold and innovative approach.

What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest quality standards
* Taking ownership of your section and consistently delivering outstanding results
* Assisting the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations and supporting staff
* Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
* Ensuring strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Collaborating with the team to develop new menus and elevate existing offerings
* Guiding, training and mentoring junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards
* Passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
* A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Food safety certification and relevant culinary qualifications
