The Service Advisor carries out a range of duties related to being the key contact between the customer and the dealership, for repair and maintenance of vehicles, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties included: Meeting and greeting clients, customers and visitors Answering all incoming calls and directing appropriately Taking enquires and service bookings Keeping customers up to date with vehicle progress Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job Liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame Gaining authorisation for extra work Helping bring new business into the service department Skills and experience: Must have high attention to detail Previous experience as a Service Advisor is essential Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills Exceptional customer service with a pleasant & professional phone manner Sound knowledge of auto mechanics A good remuneration package is on offer, including good retainer and uncapped commissions.
