Maintenance Safety Training Supervisor
Position Details:
* Job Title: Maintenance Safety Training - Supervisor
* Employment Type: Permanent Full Time - Kalgoorlie residential or FIFO ex Perth
* Roster: 4/3 12hr shifts
Here's what awaits you:
* Responsible for training and compliance for underground mobile maintenance and electricians
* Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety awareness.
* Develop, coordinate, and monitor procedural systems, processes, and training in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
* Conducting verification of competency assessments for all employees to ensure skill requirements are met.
* Undertake regular inspections and task observations to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.
* Inspect and manage emergency equipment and systems in the underground environment.
Experience:
* Underground production experience in a mechanised hard rock underground environment
* Detailed working knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Workplace Health and Safety (Mining) Regulations
* Demonstrated experience in competency based training and assessment methods
* Previous exposure to incident investigation, auditing processes and workplace inspections
* Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within all levels of the business
* Intermediate competency in excel and presentation applications
Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
* Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (essential)
* Relevant Trades background (desirable)
* Minimum "C" class Manual unencumbered drivers licence
