The Role
As a Library Officer, you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the library and provision of reference, information and associated services to teaching staff and students. You should administer library systems which ensure library records are up-to-date and library resources are well maintained, processed and organised so they are easily accessible and available to students, staff and parents always.
The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proficiency in using a range of computer software applications relevant to library and administrative operations
The ability to work effectively with the school's leadership team in resource and budget management
Well-developed initiative and capability to coordinate and support ongoing change management processes
A strong commitment to promoting reading, literacy, and lifelong learning within the school community
Experience working in a diverse school with students from various backgrounds and abilities would be highly desirable.
