Remuneration:$109,157 to $118,193 pa. (HEW6); (inclusive of $92,239 to $99,875 pa, 17% superannuation, and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join Marketing and Student Recruitment, Engagement, Chancellery Division.
This role is responsible for the development of branded design assets for the purpose of strengthening QUT's brand across its marketing, corporate, promotional and internal communication channels.
This includes visual concepting, UX/UI and print design, and is focussed on bringing seamless and engaging collateral/experiences to life through considered design.

The Brand and Creative Studio provides a range of services to all areas of the university and including campaign and advertising assets, design and production for print publications, web and digital applications, interactive design, photography and video production.

What you need to succeed
Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience.
Demonstrated proficiency using design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro), Figma, etc.
Proven ability to understand and interpret client briefs effectively and deliver creative outcomes that are considered and optimised for the target audience, delivery channel, and intended message/outcome.
Demonstrated proficiency in developing designs that are accessible, responsive, and aligned with best practice, and an ability to explain creative decisions as they relate to these considerations and the creative brief.
Demonstrated ability to display initiative in contributing to ongoing improvement in the use of emerging technologies to support and engage audiences.
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team, while taking a positive approach to collaboration and skill sharing.
Demonstrated ability to manage various projects simultaneously and deliver work in a timely manner.
