Job Description
The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees daily operations in the food and beverage area, ensuring high-quality service standards are met and hotel policies are upheld.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
1. Maintain a clean and organized department, addressing maintenance and cleaning issues promptly.
2. Ensure efficient inter-department interaction within the hotel at all levels.
3. Attend to guests' needs immediately and coordinate the supervision of food and beverage outlets as rostered.
Key Responsibilities:
* E nsure proper training for food and beverage team members to maintain consistent and professional service levels.
* Monitor stock levels and ensure effective reservations systems are in place.
* Participate in planning and conducting theoretical and on-the-job training.
* Comply with and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Effective people management skills to supervise diverse teams.
* Ability to forecast rosters and manage payroll costs while achieving profit objectives.
* Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork within the F&B department.
* Familiarity with hotel occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S).
Bonus Skills:

* Knowledge of hospitality software and technology.
