Your Opportunity
This position provides high-quality administrative, customer service and operational support across the Open Spaces and Cemeteries branch.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient and compliant administrative processes that support frontline operations including Parks, Cemeteries, Facilities Maintenance, Public Amenities, Cleaning Services and CEC (Work Camp) activities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative support across the Open Spaces and Cemeteries branch, including parks, cemeteries, public amenities, cleaning services and facilities maintenance.
* Prepare and maintain documentation, including correspondence, reports, registers, agendas and operational records.
* Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, training and workflow processes to support efficient branch operations.
* Manage cemetery administration, including bookings, interment documentation, statutory records and stakeholder engagement with sensitivity and professionalism.
* Deliver responsive customer service, managing enquiries, service requests and complaints from the community and stakeholders.
* Process procurement and financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, contractor payments and maintaining accurate records in line with Council requirements.
* Provide administration support to operational activities including public amenities, cleaning services, facilities maintenance, asset management and CEC (Work Camp) operations.
* Maintain accurate systems, records and registers, supporting reporting, compliance, asset management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential
* C Class Drivers Licence
* Certification III Business or relevant organisational experience
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
* High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and record keeping experience
* Ability to deal with families when they are at their most vulnerable or emotional. It is important that Council staff can provide families with the understanding and professional support they require.
