Join our Employability Experiential Learning team within the Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Success portfolio as a Program Officer, Experiential Learning, where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of innovative experiential learning programs, including Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and curriculum-based skills development courses. In this dynamic role you will provide practical and efficient coordination and operational support across a range of programs, courses, projects, initiatives, and activities. You will contribute to course and program administration, reporting, stakeholder engagement, communications, and relationship management with both internal and external partners. Working closely with the Lead, Experiential Learning, you will help drive impactful student learning experiences that enhance employability outcomes and student success.
Specific Accountabilities Include
* Provide program, course, project, operational, and administrative support to the Experiential Learning team.
* Support the development, delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement of experiential learning programs, courses, and initiatives.
* Act as the first point of contact for experiential learning enquiries, providing advice, resolving issues, and escalating matters when required.
* Coordinate course administration, including communications, recruitment, enrolments, assessments, scheduling, guest lectures, and site visits.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
* Demonstrated experience in tertiary education course administration, preferably in a WIL or student placement context.
* Demonstrated experience providing project, operational, and administrative support to senior staff.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
* Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, while also taking initiative and working independently.
* Experience working with a range of computer systems and MS Office applications, ideally including student data and information management systems and placement and career management systems.
