We are seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Specialist to play a key role in supporting and optimising a complex payroll systems environment. This position sits within the People Operations function and will act as the subject matter expert for payroll systems, ensuring configuration, data integrity, and system processes support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll systems professional who enjoys combining hands-on configuration, data analysis, and process improvement within a large and dynamic organisation.
About the Role
* Maintain and manage the functional configuration of the payroll system environment, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including tax and superannuation requirements.
* Manage the upload and validation of payroll data, including time & attendance feeds, bulk payments, and timesheet entries.
* Act as the SME for payroll systems, reviewing system releases, logging system tickets, and identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimisation.
* Own the enterprise agreement pay increase process, including preparing data for approvals and loading changes into payroll systems.
* Support the preparation and processing of superannuation payments.
* Assist in system and process improvements, recommending best-practice methods to enhance payroll operations.
Skills & Experience
* Experience using ADP or RosterOn is essential
* Demonstrated experience working with payroll systems in a large or complex organisation.
* Strong payroll systems configuration and data management experience.
* Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including tax and superannuation.
* Experience working with time & attendance systems and payroll integrations
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate, extract and interpret payroll data.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
