Position Overview
As the IT Security Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance on security architecture, Essential Eight strategies, cloud security settings, and adherence to the Information Security Manual (ISM) controls.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain ICT security policies, plans, and training.
* Provide expert security advice for new tech solutions.
* Create system authorization docs and security risk assessments.
* Assist in investigations, audits, and innovative solutions.
* Enhance disaster recovery and continuity plans.
* Monitor and bolster network security.
Demonstrated requirements
* Configuring and deploying technology solutions.
* Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory.
* Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISM, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
* Working with Azure / AWS cloud, particularly from a security perspective.
* Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
