The Senior Training Officer is to develop and deliver training and resources to child safety staff, supporting high quality service delivery.
This position provides services across the state of Queensland. Travel within and across regions is required.
The Senior Training Officer Key Responsibilities Are
Develop and deliver high quality, contemporary, research-based staff development and training programs across the state to staff working in child
protection, in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, statutory responsibilities and the framework for practice.
Use contemporary learning strategies and technology, to ensure equitable access for child safety staff across the state to high quality research-based training initiatives. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, including child safety service centre staff, and other government and non-government organisations. Maintain accurate training records for child safety staff, monitoring and reviewing enrolment and completion data. Develop and deliver departmental training imperatives such as Interviewing Children and Recording Evidence (ICARE) and other activities as directed by
Manager, Child Safety Training.
