AustCorp Executive is partnering with an innovative WA-based technology manufacturer developing specialist electro‐mechanical equipment that operates in challenging environments. The role we are recruiting is for a Control Systems Engineer to take ownership of PLC controls and support the system through build, test and deployment. This is a hands‐on controls role in a product/OEM setting. You'll work closely with mechanical, electrical and software teams to develop and maintain a robust controls platform, with real influence over architecture, coding standards, testing and continuous improvement.
The Role
* Develop and maintain PLC software.
* Support controls architecture.
* Integrate controls with related subsystems (drives, sensors, safety circuits, networked devices).
* Conduct hands‐on prototyping, troubleshooting, testing, FAT/SAT support and commissioning.
* Produce clear engineering documentation.
The Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Automation (or similar)).
* Strong PLC and programming experience.
* Exposure to SCADA/HMI platforms.
* Robotics / mobile equipment / harsh‐environment systems experience is well regarded.
* Australian working rights required.
