As the Return to Independence Specialist, you will provide personalized, empathetic face-to-face support to individuals with workplace injuries, focusing on early intervention and promoting recovery and independence.
This role offers a unique opportunity to manage your own diverse portfolio, influence stakeholders positively, and encourage participation in the return-to-work process.
How You'll Make An Impact
* Conduct face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate early return to work outcomes.
* Educate stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and advocate for mobile case management services.
* Collaborate with vocational providers to support return to work and life outcomes.
* Attend medical reviews to promote early intervention strategies.
* Inform injured workers about available support and specialists to assist their recovery.
* Develop and negotiate return to work plans with stakeholders, monitor progress, and clarify responsibilities.
* Educate stakeholders on documentation and legislative compliance.
About You
* Experience or qualifications in allied health, rehabilitation counselling, or personal injury claims management.
* Excellent communication skills to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
* Understanding of injury recovery and psychosocial impacts.
* Experience in developing SMART-based return to work plans; case conferencing experience is a plus.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Strategic thinking and a collaborative approach.
* Valid driver's license.
* Resilient attitude.
