Overview

The Shelford Group is a large construction company providing residential and commercial construction services across the Perth metropolitan area, and the southwest region. The successful candidate will join for a one-year contract, with the possibility of an extension, to complete the development and enhancement of our software systems. You will be part of the software development team, delivering high quality and innovative IT solutions to support our construction operations.

Key responsibilities include migrating MS-Access based interfaces to web applications, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and design practical solutions, producing high quality code for web-based applications, supporting and enhancing existing applications, integrating Shelford's software with proprietary programs, and producing clear documentation.

Responsibilities

- Migrate MS-Access based interfaces onto web applications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and design solutions.
- Produce high quality code and develop web-based applications that add value to the business.
- Support and continuously enhance existing applications.
- Integrate Shelford's software applications with a range of proprietary programs.
- Produce clear and concise documentation including procedures.

About You

As the successful candidate you’ll have the following:

- Recognised IT qualifications.
- Prior experience as a full-stack developer.
- Attention to detail with expertise in building user friendly and intuitive UI.
- Expertise in C# and ASP.NET Core 8 or later.
- Solid understanding of MVC architecture, Entity Framework 8.0, and JSON.
- Experience creating and maintaining REST APIs for seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.
- Proficiency in T-SQL, developing stored procedures, functions, and optimizing database performance.
- Demonstrated experience with the Angular UI framework v20.
- Demonstrate logical approach to problem solving and diagnostic skills.
- Proven ability to liaise with different business units and stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team; flexible work approach.
