Remuneration: $61.35 - $62.84 per hour

What You'll Be Doing
Integrated and Community Health Child and Family Health services address the health and developmental needs of children in a community context. Nursing and Allied Health services are provided in a client and family centred integrated care model.
The Senior Speech Pathologist is responsible for the clinical leadership, co-ordination, and clinical governance of the Speech Pathology service, to provide a professional level of service, with a commitment to multidisciplinary and evidence-based approaches to service delivery and improving health outcomes.
The Senior Speech Pathologist contributes to implementation of integrated care approaches to service delivery, enhanced access to services and continuity of care to ensure optimal health outcomes for clients and the community in accordance with organisational and strategic directions.

Essential Criteria
* Qualification: Tertiary qualifications to Speech Pathology
Selection Criteria
* Substantial postgraduate experience in Speech Pathology clinical practice and supervision skills within a Paediatric multidisciplinary setting, with previous experience working in a community setting.
* Demonstrated experience working with children and families with vulnerabilities from various backgrounds, socioeconomic and psychosocial situations.
* Understanding of processes for implementing client safety, client flow, continuum of care and response times for clinical services.
* Demonstrated experience and ability in providing professional and clinical supervision, and support to staff.
* Able to utilise relevant evidence based, best practice guidelines to guide decision making for best client outcomes.
* Demonstrated high-level communication skills (including computer competence and ability to use electronic medical records), initiative and time management skills
