Responsibilities
* Volunteer involvement will vary by the teachers' direction and the needs of the young people, with daily activities focused on literacy support in a classroom setting and always guided by the teachers.
* Participate in mandatory checks and training prior to commencement, including a face-to-face interview with EdConnect's Liaison Officer, reference checks, and attendance at a training day to prepare the volunteer to enter a school setting. The training answers questions relating to the position and the support networks in place.
