In this role, you will carry out maintenance for any plant breakdowns, contribute to weekly/monthly/shutdown plans, and monitor mechanical stock. The site is a licensed Major Hazard Facility and is managed under a rigorous safety management system, ensuring employees are protected. The Role Responsible for the completion of preventative maintenance tasks, fault finding and proactively repairing equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of an MHF Facility. Assist Maintenance/Shutdown Coordinators with planning and scoping out work. Update and close Work Orders in the CMMS after completion, with sufficient documentation. Your skills & experience Minimum completion of Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a maintenance fitter/machinist in a heavy industrial environment (e.g., Chemical, Oil & Gas, Mining etc.) Experience in using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MEX, SAP, Maximo, etc. Enthusiasm, intelligence, dedication, and an eye for detail WHS Safety Conscious including tickets such as: Confined Space, EWP, White Card, etc Troubleshooting Hydraulics/Pneumatic systems experience BENEFICIAL but NOT MANDATORY Experience working with PVC, Polypropylene and FRP piping BENEFICIAL but NOT MANDATORY Enthusiasm, intelligence, dedication, and an eye for detail.
