Residential Disability Support Workers - Permanent Opportunities

We currently have permanent opportunities across a 24‐hour roster and are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our residential team and provide person‐centred support that makes a real difference.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with ConnectGV, you will:
* Provide individualised support to residents in line with their personal goals and support plans.
* Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, transport, medication support, and community participation.
* Work across a variety of shifts, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends and public holidays, to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
* Safeguard the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of the people we support.
* Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive home environment.
About You
* Compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting others.
* Flexible and available to work a mix of day, evening, overnight (sleepover & active nights) and weekend shifts.
* Team players who can also work independently.
* Confident in assisting with personal care and health support (training provided where required).
* Able to communicate clearly and build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 12 months experience in disability, community, or health services, including supporting people with health or behavioural needs.
* Experience or maturity enabling effective support for people with intellectual, physical, multiple disabilities or ABI.
* Training and experience managing seizures and midazolam administration (desirable)
* Experience working with restrictive practices and behaviours of concern
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (desirable).
Mandatory for All Applicants
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* National Criminal History (Police) Check.
* Working with Children Check – Employee
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence (for Level 2 positions)
* Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009), or willingness to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
* Access to and willingness to use a personal electronic device (e.g. smartphone or tablet) with internet connectivity for work purposes, including accessing ConnectGV systems (e.g. CRM), in accordance with organisational policies.
