i9 Education is a family owned and operated business of early learning centres. Our head office is located at Keilor Park close to the Tullamarine/Calder Freeway and Metropolitan Ring Road.
Our Early Learning Centre brands include The Hive ELC, Community Kids Haven ELC and The Fern ELC, we have 12 soon to be 13 centres located around Victoria with over 300 employees.
We also have an in house RTO - Edunex providing courses, certificates and diplomas in Project Management, Childcare, First Aid and Business.
**The Role**:
- This is a full-time permanent role for a passionate, self-motivated, qualified and experienced Human Resource professional.
- Experience within Early Childhood Education and Care would be highly regarded.
**About You**:
To be successful in this role:
- You must have a qualification in HR, Employment Relations, or a similar area & minimum three years of previous experience within a service sector.
- You should have strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to partner with our Centres, a can-do attitude, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A personable approach, great communication skills and professionalism is essential to this role. Excellent telephone manner is a key requirement to this role.
- Our HR processes are fully integrated. Knowledge & experience of HR ERP solutions is very important for this role.
**Key administrative responsibilities include**:
- Coordinating end to end recruitment, on-boarding, performance, and off-boarding process through our HRIS system Subscribe-HR, (Training will be provided)
- Workforce planning including managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the end-to-end recruitment process
- Managing our Employee Benefits Program called I9 Lifestyle which includes Discounts, Recognition, Rewards and Wellbeing
- Achieve KPIs i.e., reduce turnover, proactive roster support, company's growth strategy and talent management.
- Onboarding newcomers to the company & coordinating induction, documentation, contracts & trainings.
- Advising & determining suitable salaries and remuneration.
- Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements
- Developing adequate induction, training and goal programs
- Supporting, managing & organising employee opportunities for professional development.
- Managing succession planning of staffing and support growing needs of the business.
- Oversee & assist with the performance management and review process
- Ensure all documentation, contracts and salaries are up to date all the time.
- Provide support to Head office team and the Centre Manger where required.
