Job Summary

The Civil Supervisor will oversee the direct hire scope of works for the Eva Copper Process Plant, monitoring all site activities to ensure construction operations and contractor performance meet project ES&H, quality, and schedule requirements while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities of direct hires and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, standards, schedules, and ES&H plans.
• Coordinate performance, status, schedule, cost control and change management for installation contractors.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, client, and other stakeholders for earthworks and foundation works.
• Review look‐ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, engineering deliverables, and material delivery schedules to keep construction fronts available.
• Approve sub‐contractor submittals, technical queries, field change documents, drawings, and as‐built documentation.
• Maintain relationships with functional departments and coordinate all job‐site contractual activities.
• Monitor interfaces with other work groups.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Recognized degree in an engineering discipline or minimum 10 years of experience in civil and concrete works on industrial plants.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction projects in a contractor or PMC role.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in large‐scale bulk excavation and material movements.
• Experience with large reinforced concrete pours and major equipment foundations.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable standards, specifications, codes, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive environment among client, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Self‐motivated, able to work independently, exercise professional judgment, and provide technical leadership to contractors and construction engineers.
• Knowledge of civil and earthworks systems and installation processes on similar projects.
