Export Sales Assistant
About the Company:
We are a Food & Wine exporter, servicing customers all over the world, from large, organised retailers to small importers/wholesalers.
Operating for more than 8 years, we have experienced continued growth, and we require the services of an Export Sales person to join a small team delivering excellent service to our customers.
Located in Merrylands, our office is located very close to the train station and parking.
About the role:
This role will work in the Sales & Customer Service function, assisting in account management of existing customers as well as cultivating new business opportunities and following up sales enquiries.
A few examples of the duties and tasks involved include:
- Account Management and Customer Service
- Presenting new products to customers
- Following up sales enquiries from website and various e-commerce platforms
- Create and Analyse customer reports to look for opportunities and issues.
- Working heavily with Spreadsheets and Data
- General Administration and Projects
About the skills required:
- Foremost, the successful candidate will need to have the ability to quickly learn systems and processes. As we are a small team, we need an outstanding individual to help us exceed our customers' expectations.
- High level of attention to detail, organisation and planning
- Confidence – not afraid to speak with people and use your initiative.
- Excel skills and Maths ability
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
