Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Property Manager to join our team. This is a strategic and hands-on role that supports the business in achieving operational excellence through effective property management and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising a diverse real estate portfolio across Australia, providing expert advice to stakeholders, and overseeing commercial lease negotiations and compliance with lease obligations.
This role requires strong financial analysis, project management, and negotiation skills, as well as excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice to stakeholders to ensure an efficient and cost-effective property footprint.
* Manage commercial lease negotiations and ensure compliance with lease obligations.
* Oversee property operating budgets and support strategic property decisions.
* Assist with acquisitions, disposals, and utilisation strategies.
* Conduct feasibility assessments and market research for potential property transactions.
* Implement strategies to enhance property value and performance.
* Oversee construction projects, fitouts, and makegoods to support operational needs.
* Maintain a register of owned property values and utilisation.
* Coordinate legal documentation and manage relationships with legal service providers.
* Engage and manage contractors and service providers across the property portfolio.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in Institutional or Corporate Real Estate, Property Funds Management, or Asset and Property Management.
* Proven experience managing a large portfolio (20+ properties), including industrial or commercial developments.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Real Estate Management, or related fields.
* A current NSW Driver's Licence and Real Estate Sales Certificate or Licence.
* Strong financial analysis, project management, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to changing environments and business needs.
