One of ProFound People’s good clients, an established tech organisation, is looking for an experienced Signal Processing Engineer with strong skills across AI/ML, software engineering, and acoustics.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects with real-world applications.
AI/ML Signal Processing Engineer Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI/ML models (using PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Working with multi-domain datasets (text, audio, image, video) to ensure high-quality, clean training data.
- Applying signal processing techniques for digital signals, audio, and sensor-based systems.
- Building robust software solutions in C++ and Python across Windows/Linux environments.
- Collaborating closely with technical teams and stakeholders, contributing to system design, integration, and optimisation.
- Taking technical ownership of solutions and ensuring high-quality delivery.
AI/ML Signal Processing Engineer Requirements
- Proven experience in machine learning/AI model development (supervised, self-supervised, or reinforcement learning).
- Solid background in digital signal processing (audio, acoustic, or sensor-based systems).
- Skilled in Python and C++ development
- NV1 security clearance eligible (Australian citizenship required).
