As we continue to expand our national footprint, we're seeking an Operations & Sales Specialist to join our Adelaide team. This role blends hands‑on operational coordination with strong commercial and customer-facing responsibilities. You'll work closely with our existing team to support daily operations while driving new business, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to branch growth.

About the Role
This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys both the commercial and operationalsides of transport. You'll be a key contributor to the Adelaide branch, supporting operations while actively driving customer engagement and revenue growth.
Your responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
* Preparing accurate, competitive freight quotes and following up on opportunities
* Supporting daily fleet coordination, driver communication, and compliance
* Working closely with the current team to ensure smooth operations and great service
* Allocating loads, sourcing subcontractors, and monitoring cost efficiencies
* Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to branch sales targets
* Liaising with workshop partners to ensure maintenance schedules are met
This is a collaborative role working with the operational team with a key focus on preparing freight quotes and fostering strong customer relations
What You Bring
* Experience in transport/logistics operations
* Minimum 5+ years of transport/logistics operations experience
* Essential experience with oversized/specialised freight transport
* Strong customer service and sales instincts
* Ability to build rapport quickly and manage client accounts
* Confidence in quoting and commercial decision-making
* Minimum 3+ years sales experience with commercial decision-making capability
* Solid understanding of road transport law and safety requirements
* Experience working with drivers and subcontractors
* A proactive, energetic approach and a commitment to delivering great service
