Community Maintenance Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Community Maintenance Worker.
About the Role
This role is key in maintaining Council assets and infrastructure with a focus on safety, customer service, and community pride.
* Perform general maintenance tasks including mowing, street cleaning, drainage maintenance, and upkeep of public facilities.
* Operate and maintain small plant and equipment, ensuring all work is conducted safely and efficiently.
* Uphold Council values of sustainability, integrity, respect, and professionalism in all tasks.
* Provide exceptional service to our community, ensuring public spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A White Card (WHS General Construction Induction) and Class C Driver's License.
* Traffic Controller certification and hands-on experience with horticulture or related maintenance roles.
* Proven ability to operate tools such as mowers, chainsaws, and hand tools.
* Strong teamwork skills and commitment to safety and environmental standards.
