AJC is looking for talented Architect/Designers to join our team immediately.
You'll work closely with Studio Directors, Project Leads, and fellow Architects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
The Role
As an Associate Architect/ Senior Project lead you will be an integral part of the day-to-day running of projects and act as the interface between the client and our team. As part of your role, you'll be responsible for monitoring deliverables against the program, budget and external factors.
Your responsibilities will span concept design, financial oversight, and technical leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. You will also ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and monitor adherence to contractual documentation. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to foster critical thinking, encourage a diversity of ideas and perspectives, and develop creative, value-driven solutions to both challenges and opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
* Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification.
* 4+ years post qualification experience as an Architect after graduated master's degree.
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional work experience using Revit
* Proficiency with Rhino and Adobe Suite
* Proven conceptual, design and graphic skills.
* Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.
* Ability to resolve technical and design challenges.
* Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.
* Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
* Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
* Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.
* Strong organizational skills.
* The ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers.
* Great interpersonal communication skills.
* A flexible and open attitude.
