We are currently seeking the services of a full time Commercial Roller Shutter Technician / Auto Door Technician to join our growing service department.
This position will involve Commissioning/Installation, Breakdown, Preventative Maintenance of Commercial & Domestic Roller Shutters, Automatic Doors and Manual Commercial entry systems.
While being based in Mildura, work may be within a 300km radius so a willingness to travel overnight as needed for installations and servicing would be required. Remuneration is negotiable subject to experience and ability.
Successful applicants will be supplied (following training) with a company vehicle, i pad, fuel card, uniform and some required tools of the trade.
Employment Requirements:
Previous Commercial Roller Shutter or Automatic Door experience will be highly regarded
Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in commercial roller shutters or automatic doors is required
High level of technical ability required
Current Drivers License(manual preferred)
White Card
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
High standard of attention to detail
The ability to manage your time effectively
Be willing to follow all company and OH&S procedures
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Some Heavy lifting will be required
Annual Influenza shot will be required
Covid Vaccination
We offer 24/7 Breakdown service to our customers and as part of our service team you will be required to carry out after hours work and be available for reasonable overtime as required, and also on the after hours on call roster.
Please note: As a pre-requisite for this role all candidates need to be able to prove they are an Australian Citizens and hold a current drivers license. Candidates will also be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug screen as well as a National Criminal Check, Working with Children Check and Driver History Check.
