We are seeking an experienced leader to take a high-profile role in the delivery of foster care services. This is a key position within our organisation, providing opportunities for growth and development.
About the Role:
* Lead a team of professionals, providing line management, supervision, support and training
* Take responsibility for delivering high-quality, therapeutic and culturally responsive foster care services
* Recruit and assess foster carers, working closely with the recruitment panel
* Maintain relationships with local agencies and communities, promoting partnerships and collaborations
Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide effective leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
2. To ensure the delivery of high-quality services, adhering to organisational standards and best practices
3. To develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including foster carers, families and community members
Requirements:
* Substantial experience in a similar management role, preferably within the social services sector
* Evidence of successful team development and growth, with a proven track record of achievement
* A relevant qualification, such as a Social Work degree, recognised by the relevant professional bodies
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker, with a focus on children and family services
* Tenacious, diligent and resilient qualities, with the ability to adapt to complex and changing environments
