Leading hand carpenter
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team at Stroud Homes Central Coast.
As a full-time Leading Hand Carpenter, you will be executing high-quality building work for our residential new build construction projects.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Working with a trades assistant to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects, internal & external carpentry works (ie Frame & Truss, windows, cladding, doors, mouldings, locks, decking etc) for our new home constructions
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
* Provide on-site training and guidance to less experienced team members
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Experience as a Carpenter in the residential construction industry
* Demonstrate expertise in carpentry, with a strong understanding of residential construction techniques and materials
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome challenges on-site
* Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans in conjunction with selection schedules
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage a growing team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with subcontractors and team members
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
* Must have Drivers Licence
* Certificate III in Carpentry qualification is mandatory for this position
