The Role
In this new permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for the seamless delivery and assurance of effective Service Management services, standards, and capabilities to Digital and Technology (D&T), APM Staff and their respective business units. Ensuring D&T is seen by our user community as an enabler of business growth and effectiveness for APM.
**In this role you will**:
Provide leadership and direction to the Delivery Outcomes team involved in delivery to APM user community.
Support Delivery Outcomes team and respective Business Relationship Managers in the development of effective DT planning / strategy
Develop and drive service improvements from internal support teams in conjunction with their respective leadership and vendors aligned with APM priorities
Develop effective and meaningful relationships with the business community and DT Leadership and suppliers to support outcomes
Review all business cases in conjunction with respective Project Managers (Internal / External) and Subject Matter Experts prior to presentation to D&T Leadership / approval forums
Accountable for engagement and staff satisfaction outcomes from respective business units via agreed satisfaction targets
Oversee the effectiveness of ITIL functions across the respective Business Units (i.e. problem, incident, change and release)
Act as escalation point for Service Delivery 24*7*365 on-call support model (Ability to undertake on-call duties on a rotational basis)
Skills you'll bring
7+ years in senior Service Delivery management roles in a mature, complex, and geographically spread organisation
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing the delivery and assurance of effective Service Management services, standards, and capabilities in an enterprise scale and cloud-based environment organisation involving managing vendors and inhouse D&T services, including (service level agreements and terms and conditions) to meet strategic and business needs utilising matrix and leveraged technical and delivery teams
Relevant qualifications or relevant fields of experience such as ITIL Certification / Practitioner
Strong planning, budget, communication, and organisational skills
Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
