Overview
Trios Sports Club in Cranbourne is seeking to employ an experienced Chef or Cook on a Casual Basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Ensure all kitchen operations and food preparation meet safety, quality and presentation standards
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop current menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient work environment in the kitchen
- Provide guidance and supervision to kitchen staff as required
- Must be familiar with health, hygiene and safety regulations, Food Act and OHS requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong working knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation and presentation
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy kitchen
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from the Head Chef
- Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Food safety certification and knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
