* 12 weeks paid experience working with experts in surface water engineering

This role is based in our Darwin office.
About you
This opportunity is for second or third year engineering students keen to pursue a career in flooding and water resources.
* Studying a degree in civil, environmental or software engineering
* Basic conceptual understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic processes
* Exposure to spatial software such as QGIS and / or 12D
* Exposure to programming languages such as Python
* Awareness of TUFLOW, URBS, XP-RAFTS, HEC-RAS, MIKE FLOOD, GoldSim
* Understanding of surface water projects and customer needs
* Developing communication skills
* Seeking a culture of high performance and employee engagement
* Awareness of the Australian water industry, markets and competitors.
