We are looking for a Senior Risk Advisor to join our Enterprise Risk Team tosupport the implementation and refinement of the Risk Management Framework across all business units. This is a 12- month Fixed Term, Parental Leave Cover.

This role can be based out of either Head Office in Sydney ( Mascot) and Melbourne (Collingwood)

What you will be doing

Partner with the business units to implement and continuously refine the Risk Management Framework

Deliver high-quality risk reporting and insights for Executive and Board

Oversee the bank's incident management process, including providing incident management oversight and supporting stakeholders to respond to investigating, managing and resolving incidents and escalations

Collaborate with first line teams to enhance risk ownership and uplift their capability

Provide content to key regulatory activities, including the Risk Management Declaration, CPS 220 compliance initiatives

Support the Manager Enterprise Risk with enterprise risk initiatives and ensure consistency in the application of risk frameworks, policies, and practices across the bank

What you will bring

Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, practices and APRA standards (especially CPS 220 and CPS 230)

Experience operating in or advising across all three lines of defence, with strong working knowledge of risk governance structures

Experience contributing to risk reporting or regulatory assurance desirable

Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills
