Job Overview
As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families in our postnatal ward, delivery suite, and Special Care Nursery. This role involves assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care while promoting effective communication and teamwork within the ward and hospital.
The Job Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop personalized care plans.
* Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and their families, offering emotional support and education as required.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and ensure seamless care delivery.
* Supervise and mentor students and staff as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
You must hold registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife and demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.
