Kitchen & Bathroom Colour + Design Consultant (Showroom)

We’re a well-established Queensland cabinetry & renovation team looking for an energetic, customer-obsessed, Colour & Design Consultant to welcome new clients in our showroom and partner with our builders’ customers to bring kitchens and bathrooms to life.

What you’ll do
- Greet walk-ins and booked clients in the showroom; build rapport and uncover needs, lifestyle and budget.
- Lead colour & product selections (cabinet finishes, benchtops, tiles, paint, fixtures) and create cohesive schemes.
- Prepare and present concepts and selection packs; explain design rationale with confidence and warmth.
- Collaborate with builders and their clients to align specifications, timelines and budgets.
- Prepare and send quotations and contract documentation to clients.
- Produce basic CAD visuals/renders to help clients decide.
- Read plans, interpret notes and coordinate with our draftspeople/project managers for smooth handovers.
- Keep the showroom and sample library sharp; stay on top of supplier updates and current ranges.
You’ll bring
- High energy and a strong customer service focus —you love guiding people from uncertainty to confident decisions.
- A keen eye for colour, proportion and detail, plus excellent communication and follow-through.
- Ability to read plans/elevations and do basic measuring.
- CAD experience highly desirable (e.g. Microvellum, Mozaik, SketchUp).
- Solid knowledge of Kitchen and bathroom materials and fittings (eg Polytec/Laminex, engineered stone, tiles, hardware).
- Driver’s licence.
You'll work
- Full time - Tuesdays through to Saturdays
- Tuesday to Friday based at our Ipswich Showroom
- Saturdays based at our Brisbane Showroom
- Generally, in our showroom and occasionally in client's homes
