The Opportunity: Area Manager
* Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5 days per week
* Location: Logan/Ipswich/Redbank Plains/Woolloongabba
* Hours: 38 hours with flexibility
* Compensation: Well above award + super + salary package
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will provide guidance, support, and advice to eight Child Care Centres through regular site visits and ongoing collaboration with centre Directors and staff. Your typical work day will commence from your home and travel as directed to centres located in South East Queensland.
Responsibilities
* Travelling to and visiting the company's Long Day Care centres across South East Queensland to provide guidance, support, and advice as required.
* Ensuring all employees adhere to the company's policies and procedures.
* Monitoring and reporting on centre performance, including outcomes from centre visits.
* Developing and delivering professional development and training programs for staff across the organisation.
* Providing temporary support in the role of Centre Director during rare transition periods between employees.
* Demonstrating flexibility with working hours when required.
Must Haves
* Have experience working as a Centre Director
* Have a strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework
* Have a calm, can do attitude
* Be open minded
* Excellent leadership skills
* Strong communication skills
* Have a strong belief in ongoing training and development of others
* Hold a minimum of Diploma of Children's Services
* Hold a current blue card
* Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
* Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care
