Autism Practitioners (Support Workers), Helensburgh
Join our team in Helensburgh to provide 24-hour support to three autistic adults who thrive on active participation, community engagement, and structured independence. Your role will help each individual build a personalised programme of support that empowers them to pursue their own aspirations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalised support plans tailored to each person's unique needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships with those you support.
Empower individuals to make informed choices using their preferred communication methods.
Accompany people to activities they enjoy, such as day trips, local events, shopping, holidays, and shared interests.
Assist with tasks that enable individuals to maintain their homes, including paying bills and making important decisions.
Encourage and support people to live independently, developing life skills and providing personal care when needed.
Collaborate with each person, their family, support network, and health professionals to deliver holistic support.
Partner with stakeholders to keep each person's life goals and aspirations at the centre of their care.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in a social care setting.
Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles.
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
