Workfast is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join a Steel manufacturing and distribution facility operating factory based machinery in the Rockhampton & McKay areas
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $36.50 per hour + OT + Super
Shift: Day Shift – 6:00am to 2:30pm / Night Shift - 10:30pm to 6:45am
Location: Rockhampton And McKay
Candidates must have prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be eager to learn specialised rotary moulding operations. Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong safety focus are essential for success in this role.

What you need
* Experience in a factory, production, or machine operating role
* Willingness to learn rotary moulding machine operation
* Forklift licence beneficial but not essential (This will determine a higher rate)
* Working alongside trades such as Boilermakers would be a bonus
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet all day
* Reliable and looking for long-term work
* Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
* Own transport or ability to reliably get to site
What you will be doing
* Operating and monitoring rotary moulding machines (training provided)
* Loading raw materials and unloading finished products
* Monitoring production quality and machine performance
* Performing basic machine checks and reporting faults
* Manual handling and lifting as required
* Assisting with dispatch and general production duties
* Following all safety, quality, and operational procedures
* Completing tasks as directed by the foreman, site manager, or team leader.
