The Operations Manager - Specialty Mental Health is a key leadership role, responsible for a portfolio of specialist services that address some of the most complex and emerging needs in mental health careReporting to the Operations Director Mental Health, if appointed, you will take responsibility for the strategic, clinical, and operational management of Specialty Mental health services, such as Drug and Alcohol, Eating Disorders, Forensic Mental Health and Gender Clinic.
Responsibilities include:Driving high-quality patient outcomes and service performanceLeading and developing a skilled and engaged workforceManaging financial performance and resource allocationPromoting innovation and contemporary models of careEnsuring compliance with safety, quality, and governance standardsBuilding strong, enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholdersThis role plays a pivotal part in shaping the behavioural framework and workplace culture, empowering the workforce to embrace innovation, adopt contemporary care models, and explore new service opportunities.This is a site-based role operating Monday to Friday during business hours.
Some travel between Monash Health sites will be required and a current Driver's Licence is a mandatory requirement.About YouWith a qualification in nursing, midwifery, allied health, medicine or a related field, and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA), or eligibility for registration with the peak professional body for non AHPRA Registered professions, you're an experienced passionate health leader, with demonstrated success in leading teams in complex environments.You demonstrate reflection and insight and have a collaborative mindset.
