We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Specialist. This is a pivotal role, ensuring our inventory operations run with precision and that our customers receive their equipment accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Scanning Excellence: Maintained high levels of accuracy by meticulously scanning and logging all inbound and outbound parcel movements using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), consistently meeting stringent departmental targets for data integrity.
- High-Volume Processing & Logistics: Gained extensive experience in a fast‑paced parcel sorting environment, assisting with the rapid loading and unloading of high volumes of freight from multiple trucks and containers per shift, while strictly adhering to safe material handling protocols.
- Sorting & Fulfilment: Managed the flow and sorting of thousands of parcels daily across automated and manual systems, ensuring correct routing, labeling, and preparation for final‑mile delivery.
- Safety & Organisation: Contributed to a safe work environment by actively participating in daily cycle counts, promptly identifying and reporting discrepancies, and maintaining an exceptionally clean and organised sorting bay and marshalling areas.
Skills & Qualifications
- Availability is Essential: Candidates must be available to work regular night shifts.
- Essential: A valid Forklift License is mandatory, with demonstrable and recent experience operating a Forklift.
- Experience: Previous experience in a high‑volume warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Licensing: A current and valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Physical Capacity: Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment (as required) and stand for extended periods.
- Attributes: A robust work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive commitment to site safety and WHS standards.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, a positive "can‑do" attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
