Graduate Nurse (Mental Health) Opportunity
We are seeking a Graduate Nurse (Mental Health) to join our dynamic team, providing mental health support across the lifespan.
This 2-year program is designed for Registered Nurses who wish to pursue a career in mental health. Our comprehensive program will provide a supportive learning environment, guiding you from novice to confident and skilled mental health clinician.
You will have the opportunity to experience our varied programs, including rotations to acute inpatient units, continuing care teams, and community programs. We offer:

* Rotations through our Mental Health Adult Acute Inpatient Units and Community teams
* Regular individual and group clinical supervision
* Dedicated educational support from Nursing and Allied Health Educators, as well as experienced Mentors and Clinicians
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams comprise mental health clinicians with a background in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology. The diversity of our service provides a range of experiences for our team and will assist you in expanding and embedding your clinical practice skills.
As a Graduate Nurse (Mental Health), you will be part of a collaborative team culture, supported by experienced clinicians and the Mental Health Professional Development and Practice Team. You will have access to paid study days throughout the year, support to complete Post Graduate Qualifications in Mental Health, and a structured Mental Health Nursing Career Pathway.
To be eligible to apply, candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:
* AHPRA registration prior to commencement
* Completion of the undergraduate course within the previous 12 months
* Not currently in a graduate program
* Registered with the PMCV Graduate Nursing Midwifery Program
