The Price & Promotions Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all retail operations. This role will focus on practical implementation of compliance processes, audit trails, and risk mitigation strategies across merchandising, planning, store operations, and online functions. Description Ensure compliance with relevant retail regulations and industry standards without taking on a legal advisory role. - -Understand and oversee compliance reporting, including the SSRP report and EDMs. - Design, implement, and monitor processes and procedures to prevent compliance breaches, such as incorrect communications that expose the business to risk. - Develop proactive strategies to prevent compliance risks, learning from past incidents - Monitor compliance with implemented policies and initiate corrective actions where necessary - Work with teams to design practical solutions for risk mitigation in retail operations - Ensure employees at all levels understand compliance obligations and how to implement them in daily operations - Collaborate with merchandising, planning, store operations, and online teams to integrate compliance into day-to-day activities Profile - Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related field - Strong knowledge of ACCC regulations, Australian Consumer Law, and corporate governance -Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels - Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and risk management principles - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Ability to develop and implement effective compliance policies and training programs - Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk and compliance management, preferably within retail or consumer goods - Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance training Job Offer Opportunity to influence high-impact decisions in a dynamic retail environment.
