**About the Role**:
Due to the continued growth of our respected organisation, an opportunity to join the payroll team in a full time or part time capacity has become available. This role reports to the Payroll Manager and is located in Panorama. It works as part of a small team to process up to 1,800 pays on a weekly cycle.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Calculate and process the weekly pay run using Chris21 / iChris
- Calculate of entitlements, tax rates, superannuation, and termination payments
- Input of new starter information efficiently and accurately
- Interpret Awards and enterprise agreements
- Assist and resolve payroll queries

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced payroll officer with a keen eye for detail who is looking for the next challenge in their career within a supportive and respectful team. You will have previous exposure to a large payroll system such as Chris21, as well as intermediate Excel skills.
Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:
- Ability to learn quickly and take on feedback
- Solid, demonstrated experience with high volume payroll in a large organisation
- The ability to work to strict deadlines and contribute to a small team
- Strong appreciation and understanding of the importance of compliance and privacy
For this role, the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford.
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of identification
