About the Role
In this role you will ensure a high level of community safety through managing the assessment and treatment of offenders incarcerated or subject to community-based supervision at dedicated delivery sites. This role also provides advice, recommendations and practice supervision in relation to assessment processes and program delivery at a local level.

Mandatory requirements
The following mandatory requirements apply to this role:
* Possession of tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, education or behavioural sciences.
* Post graduate studies in a related field and affiliation with a relevant professional association will be highly regarded.
* Appointment to the position of Senior Program Delivery Officer (SPDO) requires completion of intensive training to ensure newly appointed SPDOs are provided the necessary skills and information to deliver Queensland Corrective Services Offender Intervention programs. This training is a mandatory requirement following appointment to a Senior Program Delivery Officer position. You will be provided with program specific training in both content, delivery, and supervision methods. For Senior Program Delivery Officer's delivering sexual offending programs, you will be provided with training in the use of relevant assessment tools (STATIC-99R and STABLE-2007) to refer sex offenders to appropriate intervention programs.
Other conditions and requirements
