We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the expansion of our energy retail products in Australia, primarily focused on establishing a beachhead in the AU Gas market. This is a unique opportunity to create and grow a new product line and shape the long-term electrification of Gas customers, supporting Flo Energy's vision of widespread transition to renewables, including future possibilities like Solar, BESS, and EVs.

What You Will Be Doing
Your role will evolve as you and the business grow.
Initially, Your Focus Will Be On
* Defining the Product Strategy & Roadmap
* Conduct market discovery to understand Gas Retail requirements, regulatory constraints, and customer needs.
* Define a clear product vision that balances short-term operational success with long-term electrification goals.
* Develop a phased roadmap, prioritising key initiatives to onboard early customers and scale efficiently.
* Establishing Partnerships & External Alignment
* Collaborate early with gas suppliers, regulators, and industry bodies to ensure smooth data integration and compliance for initial onboarding.
* Leading Execution & Customer Onboarding
* Design and implement the Gas customer onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from sign-up to active billing.
* Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to integrate Gas data into billing and dashboard systems.
After the initial phase is successful, you will shift focus toward medium- and long-term goals:
* Scaling Growth & Driving Electrification
* Scale the Gas customer base significantly, ensuring operational efficiency and strong customer retention.
* Design strategies with Sales & Marketing to optimise acquisition and engagement.
* Use customer insights and market data to refine and expand the Gas Retail offering.
* Advocate for policy alignment with stakeholders to transition Gas customers to electrification.
* Representing the Product & Driving Change
* Act as the voice of Gas Retail in leadership discussions, influencing company strategy.
* Champion the electrification transition, aligning internally and externally with Flo's mission.
Note: Time management is crucial for aligning teams across Australia, Singapore and Europe.
Candidate Requirements
* Expertise in the Gas Retail or Electricity Retail market in Australia (Gas preferred).
* Proven success in launching and scaling new product lines in regulated industries.
* Ability to drive team collaboration to support customer onboarding, and managing external partnerships.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges and make data-informed decisions.
* Strong communication to articulate strategy, roadmap, and execution plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Initiative to navigate ambiguity, prioritise effectively, and work in a dynamic environment.
* Strong alignment with Flo Energy's mission, ready to engage stakeholders in the electrification transition.
Preferred Skills
* Proven record of scaling operations to hundreds of B2B customers.
* Skills in documentation and product thinking to structure ambiguity.
* Expertise with electrification projects.
* Familiarity with UX principles and experience collaborating with designers.
* Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma.
